RTCC PANELS
An RTCC (Remote Tap Changer Control) panel is a piece of equipment used to remotely control the output voltage of a transformer by adjusting the tap position of its On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC). This allows for fine-tuning the voltage without interrupting the power supply.
The RTCC panel provides a remote interface to control the OLTC. It sends signals to the OLTC, instructing it to move to a specific tap position, thereby adjusting the output voltage.
Features
- RTCC panels, short for Remote Tap Changer Control panels, are essential for regulating transformer output voltage. They control the On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) remotely, ensuring a stable power supply. Specifically, they offer automatic voltage regulation, monitoring, and control of tap positions, often used when multiple transformers are connected to the same bus.
